Summer Time Moisture

It’s summer, and that means we’re spending lots of time outdoors enjoying everything that summer has to offer. Day Cream Versus Night Cream

Day Cream vs. Night Cream:

I recently had a client ask me why she should bother with specific day cream or night cream. She wanted to know why she couldn’t use anything she had on hand, for any time of day. I had to explain to her what the difference was between a night cream and a day cream. There truly is a big difference!

Night Cream:

It’s essential to use night cream at bedtime, after cleansing your face and neck. It should be applied gently to the face, neck and chest area. Additionally, it’s important to use eye cream as well. 

Night cream is specially formulated with special ingredients that work with your skin in its ability to restore itself and heal while you sleep. Your night cream helps your skin to repair and replenish itself. We sleep in order for our bodies to heal, regenerate and restore themselves, and it’s no different for our skin.  A night cream contains ingredients and healing emollients that are slower-absorbing than a day cream.  These are designed to work in your skin over the course of hours and since UV protection isn’t needed, it contains anti-aging compound instead.
